Make sure to not let any players eliminate you at all costs. When you see a player, you should always try to eliminate them.
If possible, try to focus the players that are in the lead. The longer lead players stay dead, the more time you have to catch up to their position.
Play defensively when you can; steal kills from fights that are already going on. If you're lucky enough you'll go up two weapon levels.
